Our Clubhouse provides a superb venue for anyone looking to entertain their clients and associates for either business or pleasure in an atmosphere of privacy and comfort.

Throughout the day, Members and visitors will enjoy sweeping and unobstructed views of the golf course from either our spacious verandah, the fully licenced bar and dining room, the private function room or the well equipped golf shop.

Our experienced Chefs masterfully combine local and regional delicacies with international selections to create culinary sensations that will impress. Our menus take into account the sophisticated dining interests of the membership along with the casual informality of a sporting day at the Club.

The Dining Room has a seating capacity for 80 guests and is open for Members and visitors for lunch on Tuesday’s to Sundays between 11.00am-3.00pm.

Special Events are always popular at Macquarie Links. A variety of events are put on by the club throughout the year to celebrate those extra special occassions. If you would like further information on any of the club’s special events for the year feel free to contact our events department.

Private Functions can take place outside of the existing operational hours for weddings, seminars and conferences, with seating for 130 persons.

Our full length driving range is ideal for a simple warm up or a quality practice session. Realistic targets are ideal for game simulation and ensure all practice is with a purpose before making your way to the first tee.

The range boasts 10 hitting bays with mats along with grass tees for your convenience.

Macquarie Links has just received a brand new fleet of golf carts to further add to the experience of the links for our members and guests.

The carts have arrived just in time for our Club Championships and peak summer period.

Golfers will still be able to enjoy an ice cold beverage in their esky along with keeping their clubs and golf ball clean with the fitted club and ball washer.

We are also excited to introduce a new cart feature in the shape of an on-cart GPS system. Players will be able to gauge their distances and order food without having to leave their cart.

Don’t leave it to us to tell you about the new carts, come and try them out for yourself!!!

To get the ball in the hole, it needs to be rolling end over end. This will see you to more lip ins, rather than lip outs.

How can you practice this?

Grab your sand wedge or lob wedge and putt with it on the putting green.

The key is to “blade” the putt with your wedges to ensure the ball rolls end over end. This eliminates the over use of your wrists and is a step towards creating a fluent pendulum motion.

What drill should you do?

• Get 3 balls, a wedge and your putter.
• Blade the first two balls with your wedge and then the third with your putter.
• Repeat this drill for about 15 minutes and work on different lengths of putt during that time.
• The key concept of practicing this drill is to the way your right arm moves to ensure you hit the ball on the up and achieve a pure roll on your golf ball.
